The BBC have asked their readers to share some stories about their most boring job roles to date.
The replies contain some cracking stories ranging from "temperature testing peas" to "taking staples out of pieces of paper".
Personally, I have been relatively lucky, with my most boring likely being the long (felt like a life time) summers writing inventories for a haulage company - but what was yours?
