Throughout my years of working in recruitment I have always found that attending events has been particularly productive for staying on the pulse of the Life Sciences industry.

On the whole, I have always come away with increased industry knowledge and an updated network - what more could I want?

I'm attending the 'Making Pharmaceuticals' event next week (26th & 27th of April) which describes itself as the "only dedicated FREE TO ATTEND event in the UK that addresses the detailed and complex issues associated with sourcing, manufacturing, outsourcing and delivering consistent pharmaceutical products to the market" on its website www.making-pharma.com/ - sounds good right?

Having never attended this particular event before I'm excited to see what it has to offer and so far it sounds like it won't let me down! Many of the seminars are based around hot topics my clients are experience including:

- Securing the supply chain

- New product compliance

- What's changing with ICH-GCP

- GxP Cloud

- The role and responsibilities of a QP (revision of Annex 16)

Knowing that, for me, this is about being up to date on challenges for my clients and networking, what would you hope to get from this (or any other) event?

If you could organise the 'perfect' conference for you, what would it look like? What would it include? Do you find specifics in detail are currently missing?

Should you be attending the 'Making Pharmaceuticals' event please do not hesitate to call 0203 327 3072 or email l.clear@lawrenceharvey.com. It is the perfect opportunity to speak in person with my network old and new.
